Do pupils need previous chess experience?
No. The session can be adapted for complete beginners as well as pupils who already understand the basics of the game.
How long does the session last?
We’ll agree the session length with your school before the visit so that it works comfortably within your timetable.
What does the school need to provide?
We’ll discuss the space, group size and any equipment needed when arranging the session, so your school knows exactly what to expect beforehand.
Is there any obligation after the taster?
No. The taster is a free introduction to ChessCraft. Afterwards, we can discuss suitable programme options, but there is no obligation to continue.
